Old people make me so mad...
...it's nice to see them made fun of every once in a while.
People often say to me "Y'know, you'll be old someday..." to which I reply: "I don't plan on living that long." My aggrivation with the elderly combines with complete confusion as to how a generation consisting of THESE people managed to live so long w/o shooting itself in the foot! Plus they're a bunch of no-good thieves.

Sippin on Dr. Pepper, nibblin on beef jerky.
It's become something of a tradition for me. Especially in my sans automobile condition. Once every couple of days or so I dig through my collection of loose coins and pull out 7 quarters. I then stroll across the street and greet the convenience store clerk who knows me well... but not by name. I head straight for the beef jerky containers and use some tongs to shuffle through and find the most meat for my buck, after which I strut over to the soda fountain prep my cup with a hint of vanilla syrup and let the Dr. Pepper flow. The whole experience takes no more than about 10 minutes but it's euphoric in a way. I guess I'm just simple like that.
iPhone went 3G yesterday, which amuses me because I removed all G's from my iPhone's plan and I've never loved my phone more. That's right folks I pay $40/mo for my iPhone's service (a service which includes no data) and because wi-fi is so prevelant under my current day to day routine my iphone is just as functional as it was before. All I had to do was cook up a lie about using an old RAZR and the ATT rep took data off my plan no questions asked.
But let's talk about the app store! I've had a jailbroken iPhone since before installer.app hit the scene, and if there's one thing I appreciate about apps from the app store it is stability. So many settings have been tweeked that ought not to have been tweeked within my iPhone's innards over the past year. The jailbreak offers so much power to the consumer, so much control over one's iPhone, and thusly you get a lot of inherent problems. For instance something is terribly wrong with my Mail app, something not even an iTunes restore can solve. This is what's nice about the app store. Apple has with nothing more than a firmware update turned the iPhone into a drastically more powerful machine, and a stable one at that. Kudos Apple! I'm still gonna jailbreak my iPhone when the dev team makes their release.
But as much as I love the current stability, this will no doubt be something I'm involved with once they're further along.
